Sancharika Samuha (SAS) believes in advocacy through media for bringing about positive change in society. Since November 2013, SAS has been producing a television program (TV) entitled ‘Samakon’ and recently ‘Sancharika Bahas’ and airing it on Kantipur Television. The one-hour program is dedicated to gender issues and women’s rights. Through an informed interaction, it aims to dig into the issues of gender-based violence, to draw them to the attention of duty bearers and to facilitate the survivors of violence to get access to justice.

The TV program has been able to establish itself as a unique program that facilitates discussion events on gender equality and inclusion. It is open to public participation within and outside the Kathmandu Valley. The program has earned credibility and popularity within a short span of time.
