Press Meet on Collective Campaign for Women-friendly Constitution.

Women rights activists from various organizations have come together to raise their voice against discriminatory provisions against women in the constitution draft. Sancharika Samuha organized a press meet on behalf of the network of organizations for Women-friendly Constitution on 13 July 2015 to express dissatisfaction over some of the provisions in draft constitution. During the press meet, the women rights activists demanded that "The constitution should ensure gender-friendly provision on citizenship, equitable and meaningful representation of women in state bodies and women reproductive rights". The network includes various organizations working to ensure women and human rights.
