Sancharika Samuha has celebrated it's 12th anniversay and General Assembly on 7 July, 2008 in Hotel Orchid, Tripureshowr, Kathmandu . On the occasion , Bhola Paswan, reporter of Naya Patrika was honoured with Sancharika Equality Award for writing articles on gender issues and got cash prize of Rs. 15,000 while Rasila Shrestha, Sagarmatha Telivision , and Tara Wagle, Rajdhani , were honoured with Sancharika Motivation Awards.
